Biography
Florida native Ariel Arthur has been playing cello for 10 years. She has attended various music festivals including Rocky Mountain Summer Conservatory, the Innsbrook Institute, the National Music Festival, the Foulger International Music Festival, and Brevard Music Center, and has performed under the direction of internationally renowned musicians, Matthias Bamert, JoAnn Falletta, and Keith Lockhart. Ms. Arthur has also played with William Preucil, the Concertmaster of the Cleveland Orchestra. During the summer of 2012, she had the privilege of performing in the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse at the Lincoln Center of the Performing Arts. Currently a scholarship student of Professor David Bjella at Stetson University, Ariel Arthur is co-principal of the Stetson University Symphony and Chamber Orchestras and a sub with the Orlando Philharmonic. She is earning a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance and will graduate in May 2014. Upon graduation, Ms. Arthur will begin be attending law school with hopes of working in the Entertainment field.
